Marvel’s Tōkon overcomes its troubled launch to become one of the most enjoyable modern fighting games. While our review was conducted on PS5, the PC version’s early technical issues also affected the console experience through crossplay and matchmaking. After several updates, Arc System Works delivers spectacular visuals, excellent netcode, and an accessible four-character team system with a clever emphasis on assists. A simplistic story mode and some questionable Brazilian localization choices are minor drawbacks in an otherwise excellent package.
